Once upon a time, this blog was a chronicle of my life. It was filled with my everyday musings, my kids’ shenanigans, my photography aspirations, and later, the many sessions from a decade of work. It was a sort of therapy/internal counseling for myself, and showcasing my wonderful clients.

The name “Almota Roses” blossomed from my love for growing tea roses combined with where I was currently living. And yes, I still love growing roses (and everything else), and I still live in the same place but, unfortunately my old blog died. The loss of my old blog (online journal), has left me feeling a bit sad, really very sad. But, in a weird way, happy. Happy because the old musings are gone.

However, compared to ten years ago, I am more accepting of this surprise curve in my life. I see this setback, acknowledge it, and I move on. (and yes, all my picture files are backed up in multiple locations so it’s not a complete loss)
So here is the new blog…..full of beauty ~ focused on my high school seniors and the occasional jaunt into my personal life. I hope you’ll forgive the lack of dialogue as I recreate some of the senior sessions from the past. And, I hope you’ll stick around for the new senior installment each year!
