A Beautiful Example of a Full Family Session

A couple of weeks ago, I blogged about the perfect example of a family mini-session…. and now here is a perfect example of a “full” family portrait session.

I am in total love with this photo…… total complete love… natural and sweet.

Whenever I get that perfect place, (and the funds to go with it), I will have this LARGE on my studio wall… doesn’t it make you feel happy?

….and maybe a collage of these, too!

I won’t lie and tell you that every session is full of smiles and laughter, but if you wait it out, the smiles and laughter usually return….  I think one of the great advantages of having many children of my own is the understanding of the nature of children that comes with raising a passel of youngin’s.   Children are not as good as adults at hiding their feelings… their emotions spill all over as they go from one thing to the next.  And it is this virtue of children that I can use to my advantage, because when the pendulum of emotion swings from anger and tears to happiness and laughter… that’s when the magic happens.

OK, enough rambling….. 😉

Aren’t they the sweetest?

So what’s the main difference between a full-session and a mini-session beside the price?

Well, mostly whether or not you want to have individual portraits of your children, or only group shots of the whole family.

(much more beauty to find there!)

Thanks so much!  You were a pleasure to work with!
