Thank you! She and her crew (mom and friend) were so great to work with. Love my clients! :)

Ranch Party

Just a collection of photos from a ranch party our family was invited to attend.

The kids had a blast… Nona had her first Pepsi, Reid and Wyatt got to ride their friend’s horse, and we all were treated to Wylie and the Wild West.

What a splendid way to spend the afternoon!  Thank you!

Someone asked me…. why do they brand the calves?  Well, for identification, mostly.  An ear tag or clip can fall out, but a brand is permanent.  That way, if your calf ends up in a place it shouldn’t — it can be ID’d and returned to you.

(Yes, there is still some cattle rustling in the west.)

Trying out my wide angle lens — it’s a 14mm f/2.8 and I bought it second hand for landscapes and weddings. Still trying to figure out the best way to use it.

Looking down into Little Cove out by Winona, WA.

Good times with good people.

Learning to rope.

Love this one of Wylie’s dog.
