…summer is here…. at least according to the school calendar….

Let the games begin…… (and may the odds be ever in your favor)

…because although sweet hours of childhood summer bliss are romantic and all…..

…reality comes charging in faster than you can imagine (at least he has a mischievous smile on his face!)…

…four kids….. home… smiles and giggles…. laughter and hugs…

…turn to screeching and crying and piles and piles of wet, muddy laundry….

……and “Mom, Mom, MOM, MMMMOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!” in a blink of an eye….

And as much as I’d like to think that I can handle it just fine, ol’ wise woman reality tells me,

“Hang on to ur britches, missus!  It’s goin’ ta be a wild ride!”

This is life in the fast lane…….
